Breakout is an serious accident in steel plant. Therefore, an good breakout prediction system is very important. Our company has developed this product.
In this system, thermocouples are mounted on the wall of mould copper plate regularly to detect the distribution pattern and variation trend of temperature on the wall during casting. Combining mould level casting speed, making use of neuron network fuzzy recognition and weighted training to make the output constriction, RAMON breakout prediction system can predict the final breakout very accurately.
Such signals as temperature, casting speed and mould level are preprocessed (Filtering, linearization, Cold junction compensation, A/D and etc) by I/O module of PLC. The application software running on industrial computer reads in these datum and makes the judge of breakout prediction and displays the alarm picture, then outputs alarm signal to the casting site through PLC, at the same time sends out the datum and result to the monitoring computer and display terminal in the control center.
System structure is composed of horizontal and vertical networks which detect the transmission of sticking breakout at the same time, and sends out the alarm signal timely. When sticking breakout is detected, system will decrease the casting speed automatically; while when sticking breakout heals up, system will increase the casting speed automatically.
